I must be some kind of prophet. Yesterday, I said the unofficial Ni**as in Paris video would tide me over until Jay-Z and Kanye blew my mind and blow my mind they did. Looks like this video was shot entirely during their two shows in LA. It’s an amalgam of kaleidoscopic mosaics of cats, Paris architecture, lasers and black leather kilts. Killer.

The official video for Ni**as in Paris hasn’t been released yet, but some masked taggers in the Paris subway have made an unofficial video that’s certainly fresh enough to tide us over until Jay-Z and Kanye blow our minds.
I try to ignore celebrity baby announcements but this one really meant a little more.
Jay-Z is a cultural icon of our generation. The equivalent of Paul McCartney or Elvis having a daughter. Anyone over the age of 40 will not understand.
Bonnie and Clyde welcomed a daughter into the world named Blue Ivy Carter. It’s going to be a tough run for this little girl. To paraphrase Hov’ on “New Day” from Watch The Throne,
“Sorry junior, I already ruined you
Cause you ain’t even alive, paparazzi pursuing ya
Sins of a father make your life ten times harder.”
